EXEDY acquires shares in PRE-EV Mobility, a company with Electric Drive System Technology for commercial vehicles

We are pleased to announce that we have acquired shares in PRE-EV Mobility Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture; hereinafter referred to as “PRE-EV Mobility”), a company engaged in the development of electric drive systems for commercial vehicles, making it a subsidiary. Additionally, Katsuaki Waki of EXEDY has been appointed as the President and Representative Director of PRE-EV Mobility.

By leveraging PRE-EV Mobility’s technology and development capabilities in vehicle control, we will accelerate the research and development of electric drive systems for commercial trucks. Moving forward, we aim to contribute to carbon neutrality through the widespread adoption of electric commercial vehicles equipped with this system.
